Went for a walk with my photographer friend Cora and found a tree with the reddest apples I've ever seen. This picture is very iconic for this area -- the Gunks are famous for rock climbing, and this is apple country. People come from all over the world to see this, and I am lucky enough to just have to walk down my road and look west.

The Gunks
Went for a walk with my photographer friend Cora and found a tree with the reddest apples I've ever seen. This picture is very iconic for this area -- the Gunks are famous for rock climbing, and this is apple country. People come from all over the world to see this, and I am lucky enough to just have to walk down my road and look west.

The Gunks...such a strange name for something that is so beautiful. Every time I see a picture of this mountain, I think of you. I love the apples. It makes me want to go eat one now.
