Rudbeckia

A very peaceful spot where the crickets are chirping and the swans are busy cleaning themselves.

Garden Spider

This green and yellow garden spider found the perfect spot to spin its gorgeous orb.

Lamb

The thing with making images of farm animals is that they are always moving and trying to nibble on you and get some food from you!

Poppies

This is a good year for poppies -- I have never seen so many blooming in my garden like this. Check out the intense center of this amazing flower:

Pollen

A couple of weeks ago the pollen that was making everyone sneeze was also making beautiful patterns in the puddles on my driveway.

Happy Mother's Day

Scallions

Scrub Pines

Up on top of the mountain the scrub pines look like bonsai plants and the views go on and on forever.

Solar Farm

The best part of making this image is having an excuse to go up on the roof!

Bleeding Hearts

Every spring this unbelievable plant sprouts up and goes bananas with its flowers. We are so lucky.

Childhood Dreams

In my opinion, one of the most lovely trees ever. My parents planted a pink dogwood tree on their anniversary many years ago, and to this day, it reminds me of being a child and thinking everything my parents did was so romantic.

Red Winged Blackbird

Spider Party

The wind was blowing this spectacular pinwheel up and down -- it was hard to make an in-focus image, but well worth it.

Shadows of a Loved One

Pond Plants

When the pond plants turn green and lush, their newness is like a contagious smile! See close up below.

Spring is Here

Not as showy as daffodils, but always a true sign that spring is here -- Myrtle.

Good Clouds

Sometimes all you need is to stand by some water and take in the beauty that surrounds it.
